  1. Provide 1 cup regular/dosa rice
  2. Provide 2 tbsp black lentil(urad dal)
  3. Provide 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds
  4. Get 2 tbsp gram lentils(chana dal)
  5. Provide 1 tsp salt
  6. Provide 1/2 tsp sugar
  7. Take as needed water

Steps to make Dosa:
  1. Take all the ingredients in a bowl wash and clean thoroughly about 2-3 times
  2. Soak these in enough water for 6-7 hours, grind it to a smooth batter adding required amount of water(don't add too much water)
  3. Dosa batter should be in thick pouring consistency, cover the lid let it ferment over night,morning whisk the batter properly,add salt and 1/2 tsp sugar mix well,
  4. Pour a ladle full of the batter on medium hot pan, swirl it as thin as possible in a spiral motion to make round shape dosa, sprinkle some oil and cook it,take out when dosa turning in to golden brown colour, serve hot with chutney/sambhar
