  1. You need 1 bowl suji
  2. Get 3-4 pieces cashews
  3. Use 1 tsp Grated Ginger garlic
  4. Prepare 1/2 tbsp chopped green chilli
  5. Use 1 tbsp peanuts
  6. Use Few Curry leaves
  7. Take 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
  8. Take as per taste Salt
  9. Provide as required Water (2 bowl probably)
  10. Get 1/2 tbsp cumin seeds
  11. Prepare 1/2 tbsp mustard seeds
  12. You need 2 pinches asafoetida
  13. Get 1 tbsp finely grated coconut
  14. Prepare As required Oil or ghee
  15. You need As required Green Coriander
  16. Get 1/2 tbsp chana dal
  17. You need 1/2 tbsp urad dal
  18. Take For Vangibath masala-
  19. Provide 1 tbsp urad dal
  20. Provide 1 tbsp chana dal
  21. Use 1 tbsp poppy seeds
  22. Prepare 1 cardamom
  23. Take 2 cloves
  24. You need Half cinnamon
  25. Prepare 1 tbsp finely grated coconut
  26. Take 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder
  27. Prepare 1 tbsp coriander seeds
  28. Use 1/4 tbsp oil
Steps to make Masala Upama:
  1. Take a pan add ghee and suji and roast it in medium to slow flame and take it out.
  2. For making vangibath masala:
  3. Take apn add slight oil, chana dal, urad dal, coriander seeds, poppy seeds, cloves, finely grated coconut, cinnamon and cardmom and in slow flame fry it for 1 minute.
  4. Once the mixture is cool then add it to the mixture jar and add red chilli powder and blend smooth.
  5. After that take a pan add oil, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves, green chilli, cashews, urad dal, chana dal and peanuts, and roast it well.
  6. After 3 minutes add onion and once it is turns brown add tomato or whatever you want to add vegetables.
  7. Add turmeric, vangibath masala powder and mix well. After that add 2 bowl water and once its boils then add suji in it.
  8. After that add finely grated coconut and coriander. Upama is ready. Enjoy.
