The ingredients needed to prepare Veg Upma:
  1. Prepare 3/4 cup suji
  2. Prepare 2 finely chopped onions
  3. Prepare 2 spoons chopped radish
  4. Get 1/4 cup peanuts
  5. Use 2 Chopped green chillies
  6. Get 6-7 Kaju / cashews
  7. Use 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  8. Provide 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  9. Use As Required coriander leaves, chopped
  10. Prepare Some Curry leaves
  11. Use as per taste as per taste Salt
  12. You need 1/2 tsp red chilli powder (optional)
  13. Prepare 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  14. Get 1 tbsp oil (as required)
Instructions to make Veg Upma:
  1. First of all boil chopped beans and radish in 2 cups of water for 1-2 minutes. After it boils keep aside.
  2. Now take a kadhai and roast the suji for 1 minute. Then take out the suji in a bowl and keep aside.
  3. In the same Kadai, add oil, heat the oil and then fry peanuts, don't change the colour of the peanuts and then take out in a bowl. Then in the same oil fry Kaju also.
  4. Now in that oil, add rai and cumin seeds, when they crackle, add chopped onion and green chillies then saute for a minute and add boiled radish and beans with water.
  5. Cook for 1-2 minutes then add curry leaves, coriander leaves and all masalas like salt, red chilli powder and turmeric powder.
  6. Then add rava slowly slowly mix it well then add peanuts and kaju.
  7. Mix it well our Upma is ready to serve.
