The ingredients needed to prepare Tricolor Dhokla:
  1. Prepare 100 gm Spinach
  2. Prepare 4-5 Carrot
  3. Use 2 Green chillies
  4. Get 2/3 cup Curd
  5. Take 1.5 Cup Semolina
  6. Provide 1.5 tsp Eno
  7. Take 1/4 tsp Ginger chilli paste
  8. Prepare 1/4 tsp Rai
  9. Take 1.5 tsp Oil
  10. Get 1/4 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
  11. Use 8-10 Curry leave
  12. Use as per taste Salt
Steps to make Tricolor Dhokla:
  1. Wash and cut stems of the spinach
  2. Wash and peel the skin and chop the carrots into rough size pieces
  3. In a bowl take suji add all of curd and salt and mux it well.
  4. Add mix water till you get thick dough type consistency then keep aside for 30 minutes
  5. Meanwhile prepare puree,
  6. In boil water then add spinach and cook it for the next 5 minutes.
  7. Now let it cool down spinach and blend till smooth puree.
  8. Now take sliced carrot and boil for 5 minutes, now let it cool down.
  9. Now make a puree.
  10. Also made green chillies paste.
  11. After 30 minutes divide the soaked suji into 3parts.
  12. Now take 1st portion and add green chillies paste and spinach puree about 3tbsp and mux it till pouring consistency and keep aside.
  13. Now take 2nd portion add 4tbsp carrot puree and some kashmiri red chilli powder till you get pouring consistency.
  14. Now rake 3rd portion, add 1/4cup water and mix it till you get pouring consistency.
  15. Meanwhile keep water to boil with a ring.
  16. And grease a baking pan with oil
  17. Now pour 1st portion add eno mux it well going in one direction and then pour it into baking pan.
  18. Add cook for 5 minutes with lid on.
  19. Take 3rd portion and add eno and mix it well into one direction and pour on top of the spinach batter, make sure it spread evenly.
  20. And cook for 5 minutes.
  21. Now take 2nd portion and add eno and mix it well.
  22. And pour it on top of the white dhokla batter. And cook for 10 minutes with lid on.
  23. Aftr 10minutes dhokla should be perfectly cooked, so remove them and let them cool down for the next 10minutes.
  24. Now place a dish on top of dhokla. And turn it upside down.
  25. And once dhola comes out place one more plate and flip it again.
  26. And now using a knife make vertical cuts and then horizontale cuts giving us square dhokla shape.
  27. Now take oil in tampering pan, once it's hot add mustard seeds and once the sizzle add chopped green chillies and curry leaves. And then using a spoon pour it on top of the dhoklas
