- Get 1 bowl semolina
- Prepare 1/2 bowl curd
- You need 1/2 bowl water
- Get To taste salt
- You need 1/4 tsp baking powder

- You need 2 boiled potatoes
- Prepare 1 onion
- Take 1 " piece ginger

- Take 2 tb sp chopped coriander leaves

- Take 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- Provide 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
- Get 1/4 tsp garam masala
- Use 1/4 tsp chaat masala
- Take 2 tb sp cooking oil
- Take To taste salt

- You need 1 tb sp cooking oil
- Get 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- Provide 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- You need 4 tb sp water
Steps to make Idli Swiss Roll:
- Batter : Mix semolina and curd in a mixing bowl. Add water and mix well. Keep aside for 15 minutes.
- Filling : Heat oil in a karahi and put cumin seeds and when cumin seeds splutter put finely chopped onions, grated ginger, green chilli and fry till golden. Add peas and cook for 5 minutes or till done. Add mashed potatoes and salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and chaat masala.
- Mix thoroughly and cook for 2 minutes. Switch off the flame.
- Divide this filling in two portions. Now make two rolls with this mixture
- Now in semolina mixture add salt, baking powder and eno. Pour 1 tb sp water on eno and mix well.
- Grease 2 glasses. Put one tb sp mixture in each glass. Fix potato roll in it.
- Pour semolina batter over it. Fill 3/4 th glass.
- Now heat 1 glass water in a pressure cooker. Put a plate in cooker and keep both glasses on the plate. Place the lid without weight and steam for 12 minutes on medium flame. Switch off the flame.
- Open the lid after 20 minutes. Remove both glasses from cooker.Allow it to cool. With the help of knife remove the idli from glass.
- Tadka :Now heat oil in a karahi and put mustard seeds and when mustard seeds splutter add turmeric powder and 3-4 tb sp water and put idli roll over it and stir fry on low flame for 2 minutes by rotating it on griddle. Likewise do the same procedure for other one.
