- In a kadhai, heat oil add chana dal and urad dal. Saute for 2 minutes. Then add asafoetida, mustard seeds, cumin seeds. Let them crackle. Now add ginger garlic paste. Saute for a minute.
- Now add the chopped idlis, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt as per taste. Mix well.

- In a serving plate, place the idlis. Put some chopped onions and chopped tomatoes. Put some amchur chutney and green chilli coriander chutney.
