- Take 2 Onion
- Take 1 Piece Ginger
- You need 3 Green chilli
- You need 1 strand Curry leaves
- You need 1/2 tsp Salt

- Use 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- Use 1 tbsp Maida
- Provide 1 tbsp Rice flour

Instructions to make Onion Vada/Ulli Vada:
- Slice onions, a piece of ginger, green chilli, curry leaves and mix well.
- Add salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder, maida, rice flour, asafoetida, garam masala.
- The onions will begin leaving it's juices then add gram flour/ besan flour till the batter thick.
- In a pan or kadai, heat oil. Once the oil turns hot, keep the flame to medium and drop the batter in oil in batches.
- Fry until the ulli vada turns golden and crispy.
- Serve hot with tea !!!!!
