  1. Take 1 cup approx 100 gms Almonds(badam)

Steps to make Thandai:
  1. Soak almonds for 5 hrs in a separate vessel.Soak fennel seeds,poppy seeds black pepper 5 hrs.Also soak musk melon seeds for 2 hrs.
  2. Remove skin from almonds.Strain fennel seed mixture and grind in the mixer.You can add water and make a fine paste.
  3. Deseed the cardamoms.Mix blanched and peeled almonds, muskmelon seeds and rose petals and grind them in the mixer. Start grinding on slow speed.kerp on mixing and then grinding alternatively. Add two heaped tbsp of almond mixture, saffron milk and whisk it in the mixer or use hand mixer or stir it vigrously with a whisk.Thandai is ready to serve. Pour in glasses, garnish with pistachio flakes and serve chilled.
