  1. Provide 2 1/2 Tomatoes, finely chopped or grated
  2. Use 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  3. Use 1 cup Basmati Rice, soaked

  1. Rinse 1 cup of basmati rice or any rice for 2-3 times in water. Then soak the rice for 10-12 minutes. Now drain the rice and keep it aside.

  4. Now add soaked rice and Stir. Add some water. Add salt as per taste. Mix well. Now cover it and pressure cook them for 2 whistles on medium flame.
  5. When the pressure settles down on it's own. Then remove the lid and gently mix the rice. Serve hot with raita, plain curd or coconut chutney.
