Instructions to make Amla chutney:
  1. Take 10 amlas n wash n dry completely n cut them. U cut along the lines on amla. Make small pieces. Like given below.
  2. Then take oil in pan and add fenugreek seeds and mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal, chillies and fry. Once dals r brown add amla pieces and saute till they r soft.
  3. Add turmeric, 2tsp salt. Saute for some time. Add amla pieces n saute till thry r soft n tender. Then transfer to a steel bowl n let the mixture cool.
  4. Then grind to a coarse to fine paste. Then give seasoning to it. Take oil in pan add mustard seeds, urad dal, jeera and asafoetida, few red chillies and curry leaves.
  5. Once they splutter add to the grounded chutney. Mix well n have it with roti or steamed rice.
