- Take 1 1/2 kg Beef
- Provide 2 medium Onion Sliced
- Use 3/4 cup ghee
- Take 2 tbls coriander powder
- Take 1 tbls red chilli powder
- Prepare 3/4 tbls salt (or to taste)
- Prepare 1 tsp whole black pepper
- Get 1 tbls saunf
- Provide 2 green cardemoms
- Prepare 2 badeyan khatai
- Take 2 black cardemom
- Get 4-5 cloves
- Take 2 cinimon sticks
- Take 1 bay leave
- Take 1 tbls ginger Paste
- Prepare 1 tbls Garlic paste
- Prepare 1 cup yoghurt
- You need Green chillies (to garnish)
- You need Ginger slices Julien (to garnish)
Steps to make Beef Kunna (Matka Gosht):
- In Matti ki handiya add ghee and onions cook on medium flame. Set all the ingredients to make your work easy.
- In a pan add a tsp of ghee or oil and fry the whole spices. When it's fragrant then set aside. When the onions got golden brown colour add ginger and garlic paste in it and mix.
- Now add beef after a minute mix well cook for 2 minutes then add salt, coriander powder and red chilli powder mix and add Yoghurt.
- After adding Yoghurt cook the meat for 15 to 20 minutes till the oil come on edges. Now time to add water (I am adding here a jug of water, can add more as you like).cook this on low flame for at least 1 hour. (It can take more time according to your flame) the more you cook, more the taste enhanced.
- After one hour check the consistency of curry.. if as desired then turn of flame and beef Kunna is ready to serve. Garnish with cut green chillies and Julien of ginger. Enjoy with Naan.
