- Cut both end of flat bean & de-vein it. Cut into 2 pieces length wise.
- Peel off the potato, arum & cut into pieces similar to that of the flat beans. Wash the vegetables.
- Make a fine paste of mustard seed, cumin, garlic, green chilli & a little amount of water.
- Heat kadhai, add vegetables, tomato, salt, turmeric powder, mustard paste, 1-1.5 cup of water.
- Bring it to a boil & cover lid. Cook in simmer till tender.
- Remove from heat and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a kadhai. Add broken red chilli & panch phutan. Let it crackle.
- Now add onion.saute well. Now add boiled vegetables to it.
- Stir fry for 2-3 min in high flame. Make it dry.
